&*(Walgreens Haul && Swatches)*&

Hello lovelies! I have returned a day late, but returned none the less! haha I am still getting into the swing of things with blogging again and working on the facebook fan page so thank you all for support and sticking with me! I appreciate each of you who take the time to look at my blog or keep up with me on facebook! Now it's time to get to the good stuff! =)

So I do not have a large haul but I wanted to do swatches of some products I'd heard great reviews on and if you are a nail art lover such as myself, I found some great finds at Walgreens that I had to share! So let's get to it!

First off, I have been wanting to try Wet n Wild products for awhile now after so many reviews I've seen through YouTube and the blogger world. There was a hit and a miss in what I picked up. Let's start with miss.

So I used to use my BFTE cosmetics eye shadows wet as eyeliner and with the company being shut down for an undetermined amount of time, I figured it was time to venture out into actual color eyeliner pencils. Well, unfortunately I do not see me using these in the future.

While the colors might swatch well and have an okay color payoff, I could tell instantly these would not be long wearing, especially for waterline. It claims to 1: Be rich in color. This is true. The colors are beautiful. I give them kudos for that. 2, they claim they apply smoothly. I agree, they were smooth to apply. 3, they are creamy to be able to be used in different ways. While they are creamy, they 4th claim fails completely. They are not long lasting. At all.

The top smudge line is with the slightest pressure which still shows that it smeared even with the slightest touch. The middle smudge line was with medium pressure, swiped once. These are fun colors but I do not feel they would last very long actually on the eyes. For me, I have dry eyes which makes me have to use eye drops throughout the day. This no doubt would fade any liner off my water line. So for me personally, I call this a miss.

Next up are a hit! The Wet n Wild coloricon palettes! I picked up the famed The Naked Truth palette and for fun and a future project, the Spoiled Brat palette.

So let's start with what is a personal hit for me, the Spoiled Brat palette.

(Left is a dry swatch, right is wet)

These palettes are so buildable which is by far the best quality about them! Not only are they buildable, but the colors are so soft and pigmented. I own a lot of different eye shadows from different companies, but I do not own anything close to this silver. It has a high powered shine to it and is like melted silver. If you are a fan of silver eye shadows, pick this palette up! It's worth it! The black color is VERY sparkly which in my case, I love. It blends well and can be built easily to a seriously strong black. The pink shade is pretty and able to start out as a soft pink or buildable to give a powerful punch of color!

Next is The Naked Truth palette.

I wish these palettes had names for the colors so I could better describe them. I'll start with the lightest color. As you can tell, it's my skin tone which is why Spoiled Brat palette is better in my opinion. For me personally, the colors of this palette just do not work as well for my light complexion. The second lightest shade still doesn't show much and honestly the flash I think is the only reason you see it on my skin. Without the bright lighting, it's hard to see on me as well. The last colors though are beautiful and I love for a smoky eye. The darkest color is such a great smoke out color and could be paired with so many color combinations. It looks shiny but this color is actually matte. Lighting issues caused it to look slightly different. The next color is a frosty finish but a beautiful color for an everyday neutral look. The last color is a copper color that has glitter in it but it is still a very wearable color for any day. All of these colors are creamy and easy to apply, just some didn't show on my lighter skin.

The last items I picked up were found at the end of an isle and I picked up every style of them that I found in my store! They are nail art decals. I was shocked to find these gem wheels for $2! What a steal! Here are the styles I picked up! The first one I think is my favorite and I can't wait till after Valentine's Day to play with!

I will be playing with these more over the next few days and plan on using the Spoiled Brat palette this weekend so hopefully I'll have a new look tutorial for you all soon. I'm also working on doing my nails tomorrow for a new nail tutorial so stick with me! I really am returning to the blogging scene!

Long hours = New blog

Hello lovelies! So I am so excited I had to post right this second! haha

It is now close to 5 AM where I am currently living and I'm still up working on new changes for this blog. I really struggled with doing the blog while in college but now that that goal is accomplished, it's time to focus on other passions, such as my blog again!

If you followed the blog before, you might have noticed the name of the blog has changed. It was BeautysMagic but after finding that someone else has been using this name for a beauty blog, I respected that and decided it's time for a face lift of my blog, entirely!

After a long night of collaborating with my sister and best friend, Michelle, I have decided to change the name to.. *drum roll please*

SkinDeepUnique.

This new name represents each of us being unique and beautiful. When speaking with my sister who has a very different style than my own, I found it important to encourage followers to be true to who they are and to not judge those who might be very different than ourselves. I want this blog to be a diverse place for people to share ideas and creativity in this very diverse world. My goal for this blog is not just to share swatches and makeup reviews, but to encourage others to feel confident in their own skin and unique styles. Each of us are different but that's the beautiful thing! We are all unique and see beauty differently. This is my take on beauty.

I have this passion of reaching out to people and being someone they can look up too, not just in how to apply mascara or eyeshadow. I'm no one special. I go through the same things you do. I do not have perfect skin. I'm make mistakes and have flaws. I am not perfect by any means, but I am beautiful just as each of you are.

So my goal is to embrace all these parts of myself and to help others embrace who they are too!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope that you will enjoy the new changes coming soon! The design of the blog will be changing in the next week or two. My sister is designing a background and such for the blog! I'm so excited to have her on board with me to help design such a beautiful blog website!

So Michelle, thank you! I appreciate your support and help in this goal of mine! We will be doing a collaborative project in a couple months when I go to visit her in Ohio! Expect diverse looks for a diverse audience! :) I'm looking forward to sharing my love of color with all of you!

The facebook fan page is going to be a place where everyone is welcome to share looks, answer questions of the day, interact with me, and so much more. I want to create a place that everyone can have a voice, not just my own!

I look forward to you all joining me on this journey!

Until next time, stay smiling beautifuls!

Update && BFTE Cosmetics last Day to Purchase!!!

Hello my lovelies! I AM BACK! Finally, I know! My last courses in college kept me away a little longer but as of Wednesday, I am officially a college graduate! I now have my degree in business and all the hard work and having to put off my passions has paid off! This last semester was crazy stressful with trying to visit family and do college. I just didn't have enough time to really put into giving you all the best posts I could make so I waited till I graduated to return.

I will be working on new posts and possibly re-amping my blog over the next few days so thank you all for sticking with me through this last year and the lack of posting! I really do appreciate those who have viewed this blog! It really is a passion of mine but I wanted to pursue a higher education as well.

Who knows what the future holds for me but I think that's the exciting part about life! I'm finding what I'd like to do in the future and love having my creative outlet here with all of you but also love having this business degree to see what doors it can open for me! I have a real eye for business so this is exciting to me to see what happens next!

Anyways, enough about me! Back to the huge point to this post!

As you all may know, I'm a huge fan of BFTE cosmetics. Huge as in own probably 300+ colors now. I was blown away by the quality of this company and the company's owner. Crystal was a huge inspiration to me to start sharing my looks to lead to the confidence of throwing myself out there in the blogging world. I was so amazed by the amount of talent posted on the fan page on facebook that I started gaining confidence in my own abilities, not to mention have found my own style through this adventure!

Crystal has decided to close the doors for an undetermined amount of time to take a break and find what she would like to do next. As we all go through phases in our lives to find what we want to accomplish in our lives, I respect her loyalty to herself as well as fans in this time she is taking to figure out what is next.

Just as I am doing with finding what is a best fit in my life, she is as well! I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors and do hope that BFTE cosmetics reopens again! The BFTE cosmetics fanpage on facebook has been my go to for inspiration, encouragement, and friendship.

If you are wanting to purchase today, please visit:

www.bftecosmetics.com

or to get inspired like I was by Crystal and the talent on the fanpage:
Please search BFTE Cosmetics on facebook!

They are doing giveaways today as well! Check them out!!

So to end this post, thank you to this wonderful company for opening my eyes to this world of beauty and teaching me to be true to myself and what I want to accomplish in my life, no matter what the size of the goal is!

Beauty Guru tag

Hello my lovelies! So I know I might have disappointed some of you with my previous promises of posts.. I promise I'm still working on it, just had a bit of a bump in the road yet again. When I last posted, I came down with a horrible case of pneumonia and ended up extending my trip to Ohio due to being so ill. I also forgot my camera at home in Florida and my friend's camera, well didn't have a charger. lol I finally returned two weeks ago and have now injured my hand which has made it hard to type. Between all of that and constant appointments for my still broken foot and lisfranc injury, it's been a tough couple weeks with not enough energy to spare.

I am also getting ready to spend the holidays with my parents starting next week so as you can see, very busy and have had midterms this week as well. Lots going on but a promise is a promise of at least something to post so I decided to do a beauty guru tag post.

This seemed like a fun way to talk about some of my favorites that will be in my favorites post coming up soon. I will have 2 weeks off for Christmas from school so I will focus on getting lots of pictures done then to get me through till the end of January when I get my degree! Yay! =) So stick with me! I promise I haven't lost my passion for this blog, just have lacked the time lately to catch up.

Anyways, let's get to the fun stuff! =)

1. What is the one product you’d grab if your house was on fire?

One product? Hmmm... Probably my Benefit Stay Don't Stray eye primer in Light/Medium. I absolutely LOVE this product and it's hard for me to stray away from it.
2. Which beauty vlogger would you want to do your makeover?

Oh goodness, there are so many. Beauty vloggers on YouTube are who opened my eyes to this whole world of beauty and color. They taught me to take risks and to show my creativity on my best canvas,.. Myself. So I think I would love the first three I started watching to do a makeover. Bubzbeauty, MichellePhan, and XSparkage. All amazing talent.
3. What celeb do people think you look like?

Oh jeeze. To be honest, I can't remember who people have said I look like. lol
4. What beauty product do you save for date night?
I love a strong red lip and a good mascara. You can amp your look so quickly with this combination so I would say NYX round lipstick in Eros and Benefit They're Real mascara!

5. Which of your guy friends takes longer than you to get ready?
haha I can't think of a single guy friend who takes longer than me. lol

6. If you could create your own miracle beauty product, what would it be?

Something for acne. I have battled with acne for 10+ years and while I'm getting it under control now with constantly changing my skincare routine, I think I'd create something to help every skin type who have acne. It used to cause a lack of self-esteem when I was younger but as I've gotten older, I've grown to appreciate myself for who I am. While that is true, I'd love to zap my acne for good! haha
7. What’s your best beauty tip?

Don't worry about rules or guidelines of where certain color should go. Be adventurous. Be bold and most importantly, be true to yourself. If you are more of a natural makeup fan, embrace it no matter how bold others might be around you. If I've learned anything, it's that makeup should enhance the essence of who you are. Don't follow a crowd and if just starting out, find one or two features you'd like to play up. Ask questions. Watch YouTube videos for inspiration or read blogs. What one person does with their makeup is not right or wrong. Everyone is unique just as makeup should be too! <3
8. What beauty products do you love to splurge on?

Benefit products. I'm a huge fan of this line so if I splurge, this is my go to company. I guess I have splurged on my skincare as well.
9. Which beauty vloggers would you bring on a shopping spree?

Probably XSparkage. lol That girl can shop and always find amazing items to show in her hauls. I am usually jealous when I see her hauls because there are so many things I'd like to try.
10. What is your signature scent?

I have two I'm known to wear. My go perfume/lotion is Pink Chiffon from Bath and Body Works. I have loved it since it came out. =) And during the holidays, surprisingly from the same place, would be Winter Candy Apple and the new scent Winter Snow. Absolutely love both. Winter Candy Apple is pretty much the only scent I wore in high school and I always told my parents to just stock up on it for me for Christmas. lol My friends still message me today if they smell the scent randomly somewhere and tell me they thought of me. lol
11. I am on an endless quest for the perfect _________.

Skincare routine. As many people do, like I said, I have troublesome skin so I'm constantly trying new regimens and always searching for the perfect way to clear up my acne. I only get a couple breakouts now but in high school, it was constant and my skin was always red. Surprisingly I never really wore makeup in high school even though I knew it could help cover my skin. I didn't know what I was doing so I just didn't try it till after high school.
12. How many beauty products does it take to get you ready?
If needing to be ready quickly,.. My concealer, a lipbalm, usually two eyeshadows at least, and blush. I can do a quick look pretty easily now so it doesn't take that much time anymore. If I have time, I go all out and that can be a list of like 15 beauty products since I love mixing eyeshadows and playing up eyeliners.

13. What lipstick/lip gloss is in your purse right now?
*Pulling out makeup bag* lol I have 5 colors in my purse. I have NYX round lipstick in Eros which I usually pair it with NYX butter gloss in Cherry Pie. I keep a neutral pink color with me as well which currently is NYX butter gloss in Merengue. I ALWAYS have chapstick with me so the two I have in my bag are Lip Smackers chapstick in Dr. Pepper. I love this not just because it's Dr. Pepper but because it gives some color with it which gives a red pigment if applied enough. Another red tinted chapstick I just came across the other day is Blistex LipVibrance. I do not see a color name on the tube but it's a red ish tube and has a built in mirror on the end. How cool is that? lol I will be adding this item to talk about in my future posts. =)
14. Who is your celebrity beauty icon?
I honestly don't really have one. I wish I did though to answer this question. haha

15. Name the beauty brand you’d most love to be a spokesperson for?
I think even though I love Benefit, I would probably say NYX cosmetics. I've been blown away by the quality of this brand. I even picked up some new NYX products just yesterday when scrambling to try to get medicine and attempt to do Christmas shopping.
16. What’s your current nail polish?
I'm currently wearing Sinful Colors, Mercury Rising which is a deep wine color with small shimmer in a similar shade. And to top it off, I'm wearing a color I used my JulepPoints on, Gianna. I have been getting a Julep box for awhile now and I love the options and points you earn for just ordering your box each month. I was able to get two free polishes this time and I LOVE THEM! Gianna is a multi-dimensional gold glitter top coat. The gold flakes are different shaped and was just a fun way to dress up my nail polish quickly!
17. Fave mascara right now?
Hands down would be Benefit They're Real mascara. I've been amazed at how defined my lashes are and how buildable this mascara is. A little goes a long way to get bolder lashes.
18. The last thing you bought at Sephora?
Oh boy.. Uhmm, I haven't been to Sephora in a good while. I have been doing my shopping with Ulta mainly just because of the fact the Ulta store is much larger than the Sephora here. I think the last time I purchased anything from Sephora was those predesigned nail polish strips that you just file off the excess after applied.
19. I try never to be seen without wearing _______.
This would probably be my concealer or powder foundation. Since they changed up the applicator on the Benefit Stay Don't Stray eye primer, I can't use it as easily for a full coverage face product so I have been using it as a concealer on just problem areas and for under my eyes, and of course use it as a eye primer but I find with really sparkly eyeshadows, it doesn't hold very well. Anyways, I use BareMinerals matte powder foundation in Golden Fair to even out my skin tone and I just like the matte finish of this foundation.

20. What’s one beauty product you’d always recommend?
One product? That's tough. As much as I love the Benefit eye primer, I would have to say my biggest recommendation would be a tie between the Benefit They're Real mascara or Nyx round lipsticks. I have found the mascara to be the best I've ever tried and I just love the definition of my lashes now. And the lipsticks, they are so pigmented and are not drying which is a win win in my book for lipstick!

Well my wonderful friends, that's it for this beauty tag. I might do more of these in the future. =) I will definitely try to figure out the best way to present tags like this though through changing answer colors and such. I hope you've enjoyed learning a little about me and I can't wait to get some new posts up for you all! =)

Thank you for being patient and understanding. I still have some healing to do but regardless, I'll be taking pictures and editing like a crazy person over my school break. lol I want to make sure I show you everything promised including probably showing some of my haul I got from Ulta. LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME SALES! lol =)

As always, remember to stay smiling and I'll talk with you all soon! Next time, less talking.. More pictures! =)

Your busy guru,
LB

My apologies to my Blog Community!

Hello lovelies! So I officially feel like I need to apologize to you all who have followed my blog and waited patiently for a new post. I posted a year ago that I would be relaunching my blog but unfortunately a lot of things happened at once to where I was unable to continue the blog for the last year. As some of you might know, I've been working on my business degree which I will finally have my degree at the end of January!! (Yay!) Unfortunately when I was working on relaunching my blog, I started core classes for my degree that took a lot of my time as well as have been travelling every few months, and have had other priorities that kept me from having the time to dedicate to photo editing.

I have prided myself on the fact that I have made sure I post pictures that are as true to color as possible and have put a lot more time into editing than the actual creating of the looks and picture taking. Unfortunately I'm not the quickest at editing so it took a long time with being a perfectionist as well to get my blog posts up. When I started my blog, it was something to use my creative side as well as something to fill up free time I had. I wish I still had that kind of free time again but my core classes, family priorities, and such had to come first.

I should have posted sooner and I apologize to you all if you'd been waiting for me to come back to the blogging world! After I get through my time consuming classes, I will be returning! I know I said this before but this really is my passion and I will make it more of a priority once I do not have so many papers and such to do for college! I appreciate my followers still being here when I logged back in! <3

I'm humbled to see new views and followers even after a year of being away! =) While I have some free time this week in the hotel I'm staying at for my brother's wedding, I'll work on some new picture tutorials and such! =)

I promise I will be trying to focus on getting some new posts up! I will probably do a favorites post soon since all my favorites are with me on my trip!! =) Thank you again for supporting me and sticking with me through my year of absence. I appreciate you all being with me during this journey! =) I do take being a beauty blogger seriously even if it might not seem like it with being away for a year!

I promise I'm still here!

Figured I'd add a new pic from my birthday last week! =) Talk with you all soon! Feel free to contact me through comments if you'd like to see anything specific! I love doing requests! I am hoping next Halloween time, I'll be doing Halloween themed makeup! =) Yay! So many ideas, so little time! haha

Until next time, stay smiling lovelies! I've missed you!

<3,

&*(Green with Envy Tutorial)*&

Hello beautifuls! I'm back again tonight with a tutorial that I decided to do last minute after lots of compliments on the makeup I was wearing. Now, I apologize in advance that I didn't take pictures of each step. I plan to do that with future tutorials but because this one seemed to get such a great response, I decided to attempt to throw together a tutorial with what I had && to give a few tips along the way. =) So here is a picture of the finished look that I will be walking you through! Ignore the silly face! haha =P It definitely isn't my best picture but none the less, it does the makeup justice! =)

Green with Envy
*You can click the images to make them larger*

One of my favorite things to do is to play up my green eyes. I love wearing green on my green eyes because it has helped bring out the color of my eyes, plus.. What can I say? My favorite color is green! =) Also, I was feeling a little flirty the day I did this makeup so all the eye colors have sassy names! ;)

Let's get started!

So after I decided a couple days later to do a tutorial for this, I decided to pull out all the makeup I used and take a few snap shots so you know what products I am talking about during each step!

So let's start with the eyes since they are the focal point of this look!

Here is the list of the products in no order that were used on my eyes.

1.) Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous Waterproof mascara in black.
2.) Sephora blending brush from their holiday collection last year.
3.) NYX Slide on, Glide on, Stay on, & Definitely a Turn on Water Proof, Extreme Shine Eye Liner in Pure White
4.) As a highlight color, Butt Naked from BFTE cosmetics.
5.) As the main bold green, Lavish by BFTE cosmetics.
6.) As the blending between the bold and dark color, Sinful by BFTE cosmetics.
7.) As the start of the dark crease, Dangerous by BFTE cosmetics.
8.) As the dark color in the outer V of the eye, Bondage by BFTE cosmetics.
9.) Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black.
10.) Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer (mini version from collection at Ulta)

Now to start the look!

Step 1: Apply a primer. In my case, I used Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer because it matches my skin tone perfectly and because it really does help hold the eyeshadows. A primer is really helpful with mineral makeup as well.

Step 2: Now here is a trick I love! I applied the NYX eyeliner in Pure White to the inner corners of my eyes and along half of the bottom lashline. This helps to bring light to your eyes in a really dark look. I love doing this trick even when I'm doing neutral looks. I warmed up some of the liner on my hand and applied it to the inner corners with just my finger for this. I like to warm up products like this or even the primer to make a smoother application.

Step 3: Using the Sephora blending brush, I started to apply my colors. I started with my lightest to darkest colors. It tends to be easier to start light to dark because it is a lot harder to remove dark makeup if you mess up starting with dark colors first. I applied Butt Naked under my eyebrows, and applied a little over the NYX Pure White eye liner. The eyeliner works as a base as well to hold the highlight better.

Step 4: Next I applied Lavish, the bright bold green to 3/4 of the eye lid. I love bold bright colors put on this part of the eye because it helps to bring light to the eye as well. I always choose bright shimmery colors for that reason. Bright yellow and greens are my favorite to wear this way.

Step 5: Next I started with Dangerous to start creating the crease. I applied this color to the outer V as well as crease. It's such a beautiful color because it's a deep teal color which compliments the bright green really well.

Step 6: I applied Sinful to help blend where Lavish and Dangerous meet. It helped to soften and blend out the line to be flawless. I truly believe the best tool to have with eye makeup is a blending brush. It helps to soften the looks dramatically, especially since most of my looks have a lot of colors involved. I also cleaned off the blending brush by swiping it across a paper towel to remove any makeup from it and blended the harsh line that Dangerous created. It is definitely a dark color and a little goes a long way with this makeup!

Step 7: Next I took my favorite outer V color, Bondage, and applied it to just the outer V. Don't be fooled by the camera's take of this color. It really is a dark almost charcoal color that works AMAZING for darkening a look. This color you could use with pretty much any look to darken it up! I then did the same routine of wiping the brush clean and blending the edges of the eye makeup to blur that line so it wasn't a harsh line.

Step 8: Next I applied a VERY thin line with the Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner along the top lashline. Liquid liner takes some practice and my first few times working with it were not pretty haha but it is worth the effort for a bold dark line. I start in the middle of the eye and slowly work my way out and then work from the inner eye out. I like this liner because it's waterproof and you can really make a thin line or a bold line quickly with the applicator. I would recommend light hands for this.

Step 9: Finish off the eyes with Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous mascara! I also love this formula because it is waterproof and I love the applicator of this mascara!

Now the face!

The products for the face in no particular order are:

1.) Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette
2.) Maybelline ColorSensational Lipcolor in Pink & Proper.
3.) ELF cosmetics Complexion Brush
4.) Sephora Professional mineral powder brush
5.) Jonny Cosmetics Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation in Porcelain.

Step 1: I applied Jonny Cosmetics foundation in Porcelain using the Sephora mineral powder brush. Now, I have not talked about this company before because I just met Jonny on Thursday who gave me a sample to try and I have to say I fell in love with this foundation! The formula is fantastic and it feels light and soft when you put it on. It is a mousse consistency but once applied, turns to a soft satin finish. It's fantastic! I will definitely be mentioning this company later in my favorites post coming soon!

Step 2: I then blended the first two colors of the Coastal Scents 10 blush Palette and applied a very light application of this color. I didn't want to over power my face with too much color so I just applied enough to add more warmth to my cheeks.

Step 3: I applied Maybelline ColorSensational lipcolor in Pink & Proper on my lips. I love that this has a creamy formula and doesn't get cakey like a lot of lip colors do overtime. I also didn't apply this lipcolor as richly as I would usually because I just wanted something to add a little color but not be again over powering the boldness of the eye makeup.

I try to stick with one bold aspect of my makeup. Either bold lips or bold eyes. In this case, it was bold green smokey eyes.

I apologize this didn't have as many pictures and I promise the next one will be picture and not as much word described! =)

I hope you enjoyed this look. I'll be doing a look tutorial with the BFTE Coffee Shop Collection soon as well as a tutorial on one my FAVORITE looks which is very pinup look with neutral eyes and bright red lips!

Until then, stay smiling beautifuls!

XoXo,
LB

&*(BFTE Cosmetics Coffee Shop Collection Review && Swatches)*&

Hello lovelys! I am back! With a better camera, better and stronger passion for this blog, as well as just feeling all around better as the evening has gone on. If you have followed my personal facebook page, you'd know that I suffered from an severe allergy flare up yesterday. I unfortunately am allergic to pretty much everything around me so I must have touched something and became seriously sick pretty fast. I'm visiting my parents right now for the holidays and they have three cats which I am beyond severely allergic too but I'm determined to spend time with them when I can so I'm toughing it out! =)

Anyways, I am feeling some better this evening so as promised, I have two new posts for you!

Thank you again for all of your support and understanding! I see how many views I get everyday and I'm beyond humbled and thankful for each and every one of you!! You are all amazing!

Alright alright, I'm shutting up and getting to the post!

BFTE (Beauty From The Earth) Cosmetics launched the Coffee Shop limited collection awhile ago now and I'm just getting around to swatching it after playing with the colors for a bit now. A new look will be posted soon of using only the colors from this collection!

Until then, here is the swatches and review!

You can get this collection for $33.00 at: http://www.bftecosmetics.com/Coffee-Shop-Collection_p_774.html.

This collection includes 5 full size colors that are all extremely wearable for those who love neutrals. I actually bought one for me and one for my Mom who loves little less bold looks like I love. haha

This collection offers a wide variety of neutrals including a matte color that can be used as a highlight.

The colors are as follows:

Top row, left to right: Salted Caramel and Mocchiato.
Bottom row, left to right: Chai, Espresso, and Caffe Latte.

Swatches match the same line up as the above picture! =)
First swatch is dry. Second swatch is wet. Third swatch is done over Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer.

Now the review:

If I was being completely honest, this is not my favorite collection from BFTE. The quality is amazing as expected from BFTE but the colors offered in this collection are just not colors I would wear a lot. I do wear neutrals more often as of lately but these colors are just not my go to colors although I do use Espresso for a liner a lot. I like how it is a rich dark brown which works well for a liner. Unfortunately Caffe Latte was way too close to my skin tone that you can't tell I'm wearing it if it is applied dry or over my usual primer. I think my favorite colors out of this collection would be Espresso and Mocchiato. Chai becomes almost bronze when you are blending it out so it isn't a color I would wear often. Salted Caramel is pretty but not a color I would use often.

I am NOT saying this is a bad collection. These are my personal opinions of colors. These are colors that I just wouldn't wear often. The quality is just what you expect from BFTE. It's amazing products and if you've seen any of my previous posts, you'd know I have about 300 colors from them now. I definitely stand behind this company as you will see my next post is a BFTE cosmetics eye look! =)

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the swatches and review of this collection. Up next is a break down of a look I did the other day! I had lots of compliments on it so I decided to do a tutorial so keep an eye out for that post which also includes all the makeup I used for my entire face including a new cosmetic line that I will be talking about soon! Exciting stuff! =)

Until next time, stay smiling beautifuls!

XoXo,
